What is Product Attribute used for?

The product attribute is used to specify the slight difference between products that are bundled.

For example: If you set the product type to master or slave, the product attribute would be the variable to define the difference between the slaves. If you had a black guitar with a model number of G123. You would then set the attribute to Black. This will appear in a dropdown when viewing the product on your website.
